Liz Fiedler Mergen

Founder of Sunny Mary Meadow & the Flower Farmer Forum Podcast
I didn’t set out to be a business coach.

I started a flower farm in 2020 as a side hobby—just something to brighten up a tough year.

That first season, I sold about 200 bouquets from a roadside stand. By season four, I had sold over 5,000. In just three years, I grew Sunny Mary Meadow from $7K in annual revenue to $170K—and eventually replaced my full-time Nurse Practitioner salary.

But here’s the hard truth:

It took me until year four to actually pay myself.

I was working 80+ hours a week and knew something had to change.

Selling hundreds of $30 bouquets every week wasn’t sustainable. I was working nonstop—and worse, I was competing with myself. Every new offer had to earn its place. So I started asking: Does this feed the business—or drain it?

I restructured everything.

Now, I work 3–4 days a week for about 5 hours a day, thanks to a team I’ve built and a business model where every offer supports the next.

Our farm has evolved too. We’ve invested in serious infrastructure:

Each part feeds the others—and that’s not an accident.

Because the greatest investment I ever made?

Was in myself.

None of this growth—none of this scale—would’ve been possible if I hadn’t first built a solid foundation. That’s why I created Foundations of Peddling Perishable Products. It’s not just a course. It’s a support system. It’s where we untangle the chaos and design a business that works for you.

What started as 1:1 coaching has become a full mentorship program—with a private Facebook group, monthly Zoom calls, practical course content, and a growing community of people making it work their own way. That’s what you get when you join Foundations of PPP. And (at least for now) it’s lifetime access. If we ever do change in, those that got in before the change will be grandfathered in.

Today, I host the Flower Farmer Forum Podcast, which gets 2,500+ weekly downloads. And I get to help floriculture and agritourism professionals build businesses that last—without burning out.

Because it’s not just about growing flowers.

It’s about building a life that blooms.

Do you have questions if Foundations of Peddling Perishable Products or 1:1 Coaching is right for you?

This free call is your chance to ask questions and alleviate concerns prior to purchasing the course. I promise, if at the end of the phone call you decide it's not for you at this time, there is no obligation whatsoever to purchase. I don't want to have unclear expectations of what the course will be. If you're still learning to grow flowers or working on that part, this course probably isn't going to be what you're looking for.

This is for the people that need help building an actual business around SELLING flowers, not just growing them.
